I'm not one of those people who likes to start Christmas in November, we usually don't put our decorations up until at least two weeks before Christmas, but we did visit our local garden centre at the weekend,
and it was looking very festive and cheery with model reindeer, lifelike deer and woodland animals that move realistically, Christmas trees, and lots of decorations and ornaments, as well as 'real' Christmas trees for sale, and Christmas plants and gifts. It made a nice change from the miserable weather, anyway!

That's all for now, I hope everyone over the pond had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday
Love the pictures of the garden decorations. We decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving, but don't get the tree until the week before Christmas. Our weather has turned very chilly with lows in the 20's. I'm loving it! Had a lovely holiday weekend, but now it's back to work in full force. Congratulations on making NaNo! Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Mary, glad you had a good holiday. Our weather is chiller too - I much prefer frosty sunshiny days to everlasting rain! (I love a bit of snow too!)
ReplyDeleteThanks again for stopping by!
They had Christmas things out at the store way before Thanksgiving this year. They skipped Thanksgiving. I like looking at what they have too. Looks like some pretty things at your store. I like your rough cover.

Hi Sue, we don't have Thanksgiving over here, but we often joke that you know when Christmas is coming by the Easter Eggs in the stores! I love looking around the Christmas displays in garden centres and the Christmas tree farm where we go to get our tree.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my cover for my Nano story, it was good to have it for inspiration while I was writing.
