Hidden Gypsy Magic by Tena Stetler - Spotlight and #Giveaway

Hidden Gypsy Magic

by Tena Stetler

GENRE:   Paranormal Romance

 Blurb:

The Salem Wildlife Sanctuary is Gwen Taylor's life work. Her Irish Gypsy heritage provides a hidden
talent she uses to help the creatures under her care. But even her magical skills can't help new rescu
es in dire need of veterinary care.

The opportunity of signing on as the vet for Gwen's sanctuary dropped into Brock Scutter's lap after he expanded his practice to include wildlife. The personal attraction he and Gwen experience is undeniable the more their professional and personal lives collide.

Touring the only "non-haunted" house in Salem they both feel a spark of magic. A trip to his family's cabin uncovers a heritage he didn't know existed. If they want a future together, it means facing the consequences of awakening hidden Gypsy magic and a race against the clock to correct past wrongs.

 Excerpt:

“Of course that was before you realized the hidden Gypsy magic in your family’s cabin in Puffin Cove.” Her friend, Pepper’s laughter wafted in the night breeze until they were almost out of sight.

Gwen sat down on the porch and pulled him down beside her. “You okay with the events of the past few days?” She twisted around so her eyes met his. Misfit trotted up the steps and circled twice before settling next to her.

“Yeah, not anywhere near the shock at Pepper’s cabin over the holidays. Speaking of holidays…”

She glanced over at him perplexed. “Holidays are nearly four months away. Don’t you think we have enough other things going on without considering the holidays?” Holding up her fingers, she began to tick off the loose ends to date. “Ghost Beth and her family, authentication of the paper for the Witch House, poachers outcome, moving into your house, the painting, turtles, owl— “

“And the list goes on.” He interrupted chuckling. “Not those holidays, the end of summer celebration and gala. How about I take you on a real date?”

“So all our outings up until now were pretend dates?” She crossed her arms over her chest and stuck her lip out in a pout.

Laughing he shook his head. “I mean one that doesn’t include injured animals, poachers, bewitched time-travel paintings, Gypsy magic cabins, or whatever else we’ve encountered in the past few months. A date like most couples enjoy.”

“What fun is that?” She deliberately ran the tip of her tongue around her moist lips knowing her actions would get his attention. Still holding the pout he’d termed cute on other occasions.

With his fingertip, he tilted her chin up, brushed his lips over hers.
